I've always wanted to know: are the chestnuts any good? I've never had any and they're expensive, so I'd like an opinion before I put my money on them.

Yes! They were 2 pounds for a small bag, but they were very tasty. I buy then in SD at a grocery store and oven roast them--cut an X at the base so they can expand and makes it easier to peel.
ReplyDeleteOh, ENVY! I remember going to the Kriskringlemarts when I was a child in Germany. I still think of them fondly, and GINGERBREAD! *sigh*
